How much does it cost to re-plaster a room?
Guide prices start at £250 for an en-suite and vary by room size and condition. Every job is priced after Vasile sees it.
How long before I can paint new plaster?
Usually a few weeks, depending on thickness and ventilation — we tell you what to expect for your room.
Why do fine cracks appear as plaster dries?
Fine hairline cracks can be normal while fresh plaster dries and settles. We explain what to expect and when it is ready to decorate.
Will there be a lot of dust and mess?
Floors and furniture are protected with dust sheets, doors and windows are covered where needed, and the site is left tidy every evening.
Can you skim over Artex?
Yes, once the Artex has been tested for asbestos.
Do I need permission to re-render my house?
A large re-render or work on a house in a conservation area can need Building Regulations or planning approval. Vasile tells you what he knows; the decision sits with your council.
